Shipping & Delivery Overview
Furiani Marble & Granite arranges delivery with a focus on practicality, material care, and clear expectations. The purpose of this document is to explain how shipments are prepared, released, and handled once they leave our facility.
Shipment Origin
Depending on material type, size, or availability, items may be dispatched from our Sacramento location or coordinated through approved freight or logistics partners. This approach allows us to balance handling safety with logistical efficiency.
Shipment routing decisions are made internally and may vary by order.
Preparation Before Dispatch
After a request is confirmed, materials enter a preparation phase that may include verification, inspection, and protective packing.
Typical preparation time ranges from two to several business days, depending on volume and material requirements. During periods of higher operational demand, preparation may take additional time.
Delivery Timing
Transit duration depends on destination, carrier scheduling, and route conditions. Time ranges communicated are approximate references only and should not be treated as fixed commitments.
External conditions—such as weather, transportation constraints, or regional handling procedures—may affect arrival timing.
Shipping Costs
Delivery-related charges, where applicable, are calculated based on shipment size, handling needs, and destination. Any applicable costs are disclosed prior to confirmation.
Tracking Information
When tracking is available, details are shared once a shipment has been released to the carrier. Updates may not appear immediately and can reflect pauses that are part of normal transit processing.
A lack of movement does not automatically indicate an issue.
International Shipments
For deliveries outside the United States, local import procedures may apply. Any duties, taxes, or clearance requirements are determined by the destination jurisdiction and are the responsibility of the recipient.
Processing times related to customs are outside our operational control.
Modifications After Confirmation
Because materials are prepared promptly, changes to delivery details must be requested shortly after confirmation. Once preparation or dispatch has begun, adjustments may no longer be possible.
Condition Upon Arrival
Recipients are encouraged to review shipments upon arrival.
If visible damage is identified, contact should be made within a reasonable timeframe with supporting documentation. Each situation is reviewed individually to determine an appropriate resolution.
Responsibility During Transit
Responsibility for the shipment transfers once materials are released to the carrier. Carrier-confirmed loss or damage is handled according to applicable transport procedures.
